My inspiration for “Peach Photography” comes from the experience of the “peach and the pit”, a light-hearted social discussion that has us ponder the best and worst part of our day. It is a reminder that not every day is great, but every day has something great in it.

That is my goal as a photographer...to have my work reflect what it is that makes a day special; what it is that makes a moment special.

Izzy & Christian’s Celebration

I often find myself immersed in the captivating wedding day arrangements of my wedding couples, and Izzy & Christian’s Fiddler’s Elbow Wedding in Bedminster, NJ was no exception! It was a pleasure playing a part in the beautiful journey of Izzy and Christian, who shared their heartwarming love story from the very beginning leading up to their special day!

The Kachmars attended Boston College but didn’t have the pleasure of meeting until a study abroad program in London in 2013. Their journey of love began there. When they returned to college in Boston, they immediately started dating and bonded over being the only ones not 21 yet in their friend group.

Christian knew that surprising his soon-to-be-bride would be a challenge, but he orchestrated the perfect plan. Under the guise of a spontaneous night out in NYC, he led Izzy to Washington Square Park, a place reminiscent of their early days in the city after college. It was there that he popped the question, and of course Izzy said yes!

Selecting a Fiddler’s Elbow wedding for their venue was an extremely easy decision for Izzy and Christian…

“Once we saw Fiddler’s it was a no brainer.  We were so excited to have such a beautiful venue where we could spend the whole day, it made everything so easy!”

– Bride, Izzy

…This is no surprise on my part as the beauty of this venue never disappoints!

Izzy and Christian did face some difficult decisions and inevitable challenges of wedding planning, with the finalization of seating charts and travel logistics proving to be the most demanding. Yet, amidst the chaos, dance lessons stood out as a delightful relief. As non-dancers, the lessons not only eased pre-wedding stress but also provided them with memorable date days.

To infuse their Fiddler’s Elbow Wedding day with a personal touch, the couple ensured that their beloved dog, Abbey, played a role. Although unable to attend, Abbey’s presence was felt through custom-designed napkins featuring a photo of her, adding a unique flair to their Fiddler’s Elbow wedding cocktail hour.

Echoing a sentiment often shared, the couple emphasized the fleeting nature of the wedding day. Taking a few moments for themselves after the ceremony allowed them to slow down, savoring the essence of their union before diving into the festivities….

“Everyone says this, but it really is true that your wedding day will FLY by.  We took a few minutes to ourselves after the ceremony before joining the cocktail hour, and it was really nice to slow down for a minute and soak in the day.”

– Izzy

The Kachmars put together such an amazing wedding day. Being their wedding photographer and showcasing their love on camera was an absolute joy! Check out some photos from their special day below!

BRIDE’S PEACH & PIT

PEACH: “Finishing our first dance!  It was the last step of the day that we were nervous about, and it was actually so much fun!  Plus once we finished the dance we could fully relax and enjoy the party.”

PIT: “Both of us regret not grabbing enough of the pizza from the Fiddler’s pizza truck at the end of the night, definitely our biggest mistake.”
