My inspiration for “Peach Photography” comes from the experience of the “peach and the pit”, a light-hearted social discussion that has us ponder the best and worst part of our day. It is a reminder that not every day is great, but every day has something great in it.

That is my goal as a photographer...to have my work reflect what it is that makes a day special; what it is that makes a moment special.

Ari & Josh’s Wedding Celebration

Today marks the one-year anniversary of a beautiful spring wedding I had the pleasure of photographing at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ, and it’s amazing to look back on all the magic that happened on that day for the bride and groom, Ari and Josh.

COVID was a concern leading up to this 2022 wedding, however everyone remained optimistic and focused on the excitement of the day. And boy, was there excitement! From the beautiful ceremony to the lively dancing, it was a celebration filled with love and happiness at this Fiddler’s Elbow Spring Wedding.

The creative process was Ari and Josh’s favorite part about planning their wedding. They hand-picked every vendor, and it was clear that they had a true eye for style and beauty. And let’s talk about their venue choice for a moment – Fiddler’s Elbow is an absolute dream! The stone house and surrounding greenery provided a stunning backdrop for the perfect spring wedding, and I had a blast capturing Fiddler’s atmosphere on camera. Despite rain being an unexpected guest for the Bottinos, the venue was extremely accommodating. I was easily able to pivot the photography angles to get all the shots needed. (Make sure you ask your venue and photographer about rain alternatives!)

One of the things that made this Spring wedding so special to the Bottinos was how distinctively “them” it was. The couple knew they wanted plenty of tequila (Casamigos, to be exact!) to fuel their packed dance floor. The tequila certainly did the trick as the energy in the venue was electric and it was a night that no one will soon forget.

“We knew our dance floor was going to be crowded the entire night with our friends, so we made sure to pick the best of the best when it came to our band and the music.”

– Bride, Ari

Looking back on the day, I’m filled with gratitude for being able to be a part of it all. For one thing, the couple’s love for each other was so evident. Even the way they met is adorable:

“We met at work in 2016 at Gawker media group. He was the new kid on the e-commerce team and we became fast friends. After forming a friendship, we started “secretly” dating before the whole office found out soon after (but everyone was so happy and supportive!)”

It is always a joy to be able to capture beautiful Spring weddings at Fiddler’s Elbow, and I’m honored to have been a part of Ari and Josh’s big day. Cheers to one year as the Bottinos!

BRIDE’S PEACH & PIT

Peach: My favorite memory was when our favorite song “wake me up” by Avicii came on later in the night and just jumping around with each other and all our friends was a moment I’ll never forget!

Pit: Having my best friend who married us come down with COVID days before the wedding so she wasn’t able to party with us!
