My inspiration for “Peach Photography” comes from the experience of the “peach and the pit”, a light-hearted social discussion that has us ponder the best and worst part of our day. It is a reminder that not every day is great, but every day has something great in it.

That is my goal as a photographer...to have my work reflect what it is that makes a day special; what it is that makes a moment special.

Caitlin & Zach’s Celebration

From the moment I arrived at this summer Hamilton Farm wedding, for Caitlin and Zach, I knew this day would be special. As their photographer, I had the privilege of capturing not just images but their undeniable love.

Caitlin and Zach’s love story began at Villanova University during their sophomore year at a fraternity party. From that point on, their love blossomed, eventually leading to a perfect proposal at Normandy Beach, NJ, Caitlin’s favorite place in the world. Zach orchestrated a beautiful surprise, gathering their families and friends from Colorado, New Jersey, and both high school and college to celebrate a memorable weekend on the Jersey Shore.

A summer Hamilton Farm wedding turned out to be the perfect match for their wedding venue dreams. The moment Caitlin and Zach toured Hamilton Farm, they knew it was the one. The staff’s friendly energy, the stunning views, and the welcoming atmosphere made it feel like home. The food was another highlight, adding to the overall ideal choice for their celebration.

As always, the journey to their big day wasn’t without its tribulations…

“Managing time between planning the wedding, working as a nurse, being in nurse practitioner school, and living further away in Virginia since the wedding was in NJ [was the most difficult part]”

– Bride, Caitlin

…Caitlin, balancing her responsibilities as a nurse, found it difficult to manage time for wedding planning. Thankfully, her mom stepped in and was a tremendous help, coordinating details and ensuring everything went smoothly.

For Caitlin, one of the highlights of planning this summer Hamilton Farm wedding was the quality time spent with her mom. They had so much fun planning together, making it the ultimate bonding experience despite the physical distance between them. This mother-daughter duo truly made the planning process and wedding day enjoyable.

As the wedding day inched closer, the couple worried that the day would fly by, leaving little time for them to be together. However, the Peach Photography timeline allowed them moments with their loved ones while also carving out time just for each other. The first look gave them the day together instead of separate. It was beautiful to see Caitlin and Zach savoring every second. Their summer Hamilton Farm wedding had some pretty high temperatures, going up to 99 degrees. Despite the hot sun, not one friend or family member in the wedding party complained. Love and joy was in the air – the pictures are proof!

What made the Johnson’s summer Hamilton Farm wedding uniquely theirs was their dedication to giving back. Both working in medicine, they repurposed their wedding flowers…

“We learned of the opportunity to repurpose our flowers through Forget Me Knot which is a non-profit organization that donated our wedding flowers to medical facilities and hospice centers to bring a smile to the patients’ faces. The fact we could share our wedding flowers with patients in NJ really was special to us and we loved this aspect of our wedding as we dedicate our day to day and careers to medicine this was a good way for us to give back and hopefully make someone’s day.”

– Caitlin

…This gesture reflected the couple’s commitment to making a difference.

Caitlin and Zach offer this heartfelt advice for future couples on their big day…

“Dance, have fun, enjoy each other’s company, and soak it all in! Smile a lot. The energy the bride and groom bring really sets the tone for the day.”

– Caitlin

Being able to photograph the Johnson’s summer Hamilton Farm wedding was an honor. Their love, kindness, and the beautiful moments shared with their family and friends made it a day to remember! View some beautiful photos from their special day below.

BRIDE’S PEACH & PIT

PEACH: Peach was being together with all of our friends and family at a beautiful location for our wedding celebration.

PIT: The pit may have to be the heat wave that occurred but we all danced and sweat and had so much fun we didn’t even notice it after a couple minutes!
