My inspiration for “Peach Photography” comes from the experience of the “peach and the pit”, a light-hearted social discussion that has us ponder the best and worst part of our day. It is a reminder that not every day is great, but every day has something great in it.

That is my goal as a photographer...to have my work reflect what it is that makes a day special; what it is that makes a moment special.

Brianna & Joe

Capturing the essence of Brianna and Joe’s Ryland Inn Wedding in Whitehouse Station, NJ was an absolute delight. From a surprise proposal in the heart of New York City to carefully chosen wedding day details, let me take you along for the ride through this couple’s love story!

The Wools’ story began on a rainy October 13th in 2022, with Joe’s clever surprise proposal at the New York Film Festival in the Lincoln Center. To throw Brianna off, Joe made her believe they were there to see a movie, but as soon as they met up at the Revson Fountain, Joe proposed. Their love for movies and New York made for the most perfect moment…

“I was in such shock that I forgot to say yes, and the only thing we really remember is Joe saying “sorry this took so long!” NYC and movies are extremely important to us and have a lot to do with our relationship, so it truly was the perfect place to propose!”

 – Bride, Brianna

Having The Ryland Inn Wedding was discovered by chance, stumbled upon through The Knot. The rustic yet elegant atmosphere, highlighted by chandeliers and a fireplace, perfectly matched their vision. And the venue’s available date, October 13th, played a role not only in their engagement but also in their choice of a wedding date…

“We actually began touring at the beginning of October knowing an engagement was in the near future, so we knew they had October 13th, 2023 available and this played a part in Joe choosing to propose on October 13th, 2022! We also LOVE Friday the 13th so that was a bonus.”

Navigating the planning process, Brianna and Joe faced the logistical challenges of organizing a wedding. The stress of finalizing details reached its peak when they realized that they had forgotten to obtain their marriage license! Yet, in the end, it all came together, and they were able to secure the license two days before the wedding.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Brianna and Joe’s Ryland Inn Wedding was their shared involvement when it came to decision-making. Every decision, big or small, was made together, creating such a special experience for the two of them. They advised future brides and grooms to stay true to their vision, emphasizing that the day is about the couple…

“Stay true to your vision and what YOU want and what is best for the two of you. It’s so easy to get caught up in others’ opinions, but the day is strictly about the two of you. Whatever is best for you will be best for your guests. Remember, they’re there to celebrate you! I know this isn’t always possible… But we booked all of our vendors within the first month of being engaged so then we could truly enjoy the engagement. It didn’t start to feel “crazy” until about 3 months before!

Advice for the day, we talked prior about making sure we were together for the entire day. It goes by so fast and we wanted to make sure we were soaking every second up together!”

The Wools’ Ryland Inn wedding was a celebration filled with exciting moments, including a tequila shot at the alter, animal drink stirrers, and a game of flip cup before reception entrances, which will be cherished forever! Check out the gallery below for some highlights from their big day!

BRIDE’S PEACH & PIT

Peach: “This one is so hard for me! Lol I must give three. The moment that will stick out in my mind was the immediate relief and calmness I felt during our first look. I was anxious all morning but as soon as I saw Joe, I was ready for the day to really begin!

One of the most meaningful parts of the day for me was giving the toast for my late-dad. I knew I wanted to honor him but – I did NOT want it to be any sadder than it already was, so I tried to make it a little funny and just fun, which the dancing definitely was!

My overall favorite memory that I’m labeling as a “core” memory was our last song of the night being Love Story. This is my all-time favorite Taylor Swift song and I dreamed of dancing to it at my wedding for YEARS. Joe understood the assignment and got down on his knee during the bridge and the crowd went wild. The videos and pictures from this moment are my favorites, you can seriously feel the happiness!”

Pit: “My dress was stained as SOON as I stepped out of the limo. I know it’s inevitable, but I was really hoping to get through the ceremony without that happening!”
