When you grow up in Jersey, love the shore, and love a good ballroom…a Crystal Point Yacht Club wedding is a great option for you. When Meagan and Danny started planning their wedding, they knew they were going to have a summer wedding in Jersey! Being close to their favorite place, the shore, was a must.
Crystal Point Yacht Club checked all the boxes including a large cocktail hour space, outdoor ceremony location on the water, and a ballroom with a view. Unfortunately, Meagan and Danny were one of the many, many couples scheduled to get married in 2020. We didn’t let this kill the vibes of wedding excitement! We planned a beach engagement session, hung out in the sand and danced around for fun and gorgeous keepsake photos. This helped break up the “waiting” for their new wedding date of 7.24.21. It was even featured in a Peach blog about 2020 postponements!
When it came time to finally have their Crystal Point Yacht Club wedding, they had the most amazing time! I think Meagan and Danny would say the wait almost made the day that much better! Meagan got ready at Crystal Point Yacht Club and loved having a separate room from the wedding party where her mom and sister helped her get dressed.
Meagan says, “This allowed for an intimate moment, just us, where we laughed and took in the special day!”
Their large wedding party was shuttled to Spring Lake for their photos together in a beautiful red trolley. The park made for a gorgeous backdrop for their large group.
When I asked the couple if they have any advice for future couples, Meagan said, “Laugh and enjoy it all! Don’t sweat the small stuff. Remember everyone is there for you, loves you, and can’t wait to see you on your happiest day!”
Peach: The first look and seeing Danny’s reaction! I l also loved the first look with my dad, and the moment we had before walking down the aisle. Loved everyone’s reaction to our first dance and of course our robot! Loved seeing everyone and how happy they were for us! Best day ever!
Pit: The worst part was after my tied corset dress was on, I realized I had to put on undergarments still. I had to get out of the dress again and completely re-lace everything. My sister was sweating and had to air out in front of the air conditioner which was hysterical!
