The Forsts’ love story began in the most natural way—through mutual friends and at their local gym. Over time, their connection grew into something truly special, leading them to their dream Crossed Keys Estate Fall wedding day filled with love and memories to last a lifetime.

When it came to their proposal, Haley had no idea what was coming. What she thought was a casual “girls’ day” out with her sister and sister-in-law turned into one of the biggest surprises of her life. After a few drinks at Witherspoon Grill, Haley’s sister-in-law’s friend—a photographer—met up with them to take some birthday/test shots. As she posed for the camera in Palmer Square, Matthew appeared from behind, surrounded by a camera crew. Under the glow of the Christmas lights, he got down on one knee and popped the question. But the surprises didn’t stop there…

“We then celebrated at Mistral and went to go show my parents at their house after. Total surprise to have 50+ friends/family there to surprise me! It was so special to me because he knew I always wanted to celebrate with everybody I love!” – Bride, Haley

From the moment I arrived at Crossed Keys Estate, I could feel the excitement in the air. The bridal suite was buzzing with energy as Haley and her wedding party laughed, toasted, and soaked in the final moments before walking down the aisle. It was hands down one of the best parts of the day—electric vibes, happy tears, and the kind of anticipation that makes a wedding so special.

For Forsts, creating a wedding that reflected their personalities was key. Their minimal and classy vision came to life with delicate baby’s breath, elegant white roses, and soft candlelight. And for the beer lovers they are, incorporating Treehouse Beer into the cocktail hour and reception was the perfect personal touch.

Like many couples, Haley and Matthew found navigating the challenges of budgeting and deciding where to splurge difficult. But amidst the planning stress, there were also fun moments—Haley especially loved picking out her hair and makeup team and doing her trials.

“The day goes by SOOO fast – enjoy every moment and soak it in! I would also recommend making sure you eat/drink fluids leading up to the ceremony. It gets hectic after and it’s hard to find time to prioritize that.” – Haley
