Christina & David’s Penury Natirar Celebration
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to capture the magic of numerous love stories as they unfold. I’m even luckier that I continue to photograph the most beautiful weddings, including David and Christina’s Ninety Acres summer wedding in Peapack, New Jersey. Pendry Natirar is one of my favorite NJ wedding venues, and their restaurant, Ninety Acres, is certainly a gem to remember. Step into this enchanting day at Ninety Acres, and see how the journey began.
The proposal, set against the stunning backdrop of Inglenook Winery in Napa Valley, was a moment straight out of a fairytale. Christina had no idea what was coming, even though David had been planning it for months. The private room, the wine caves, the walk to the front of the winery—all leading to that pivotal moment when David dropped to one knee. It was a perfect proposal filled with pure, unguarded emotion.
Christina and David’s wedding venue, Ninety Acres, echoed the same sentiments as their winery proposal in Napa Valley. It was intimate, romantic, and imbued with a sense of timelessness that the Habers both wanted. They didn’t opt for the common grand ballroom; instead, they chose a venue that resonated with the elegance of wine country…
“We didn’t want a standard big ballroom because we were having a small wedding. We wanted something that felt romantic and timeless. Since we got engaged in Napa we also wanted something that felt similar to wine country. A Ninety Acres summer wedding checked all of our boxes.” – Bride, Christina
In the lead-up to the wedding, the Habers faced the typical stressors that come with planning such a significant event. Balancing the intricacies of wedding planning with their demanding careers—and in Christina’s case, being in Nurse Practitioner school—was no small feat. However, they consistently refocused on the bigger picture, their Ninety Acres summer wedding. It wasn’t about the tiny details that so often consume couples; it was about the commitment they were making to each other…
“I think often people during the planning process get so stressed about the details and finances that we forget what the day is truly about and how special it really is. David and I checked in with each other a lot to make sure we talked about what we are excited for rather than what we are stressing about.” – Christina
This perspective not only kept them grounded but also brought a sense of calm to the entire day. The couple’s ability to maintain their focus on what truly mattered—each other—allowed them to enjoy the process.
For future brides and grooms, David and Christina’s journey offers a valuable lesson: What matters most is staying true to yourselves and savoring every moment of this experience…
“It’s okay not to love every part of planning and it’s okay to do something different from the norm. It also does go by so fast and every event/ moment leading up to the wedding is a once in a lifetime event so make sure to remind yourself to enjoy it.” -Christina
This advice reminds us that while the day itself is fleeting, the memories, emotions, and the love shared will last a lifetime.
Reflecting on the Haber’s Ninety Acres summer wedding day, I couldn’t help but think how their celebration was a true representation of who they are as a couple. The signature drinks named after their cats, the traditional Jewish elements that honored their heritage, the romantic florals with touches of green, and the elegant black velvet bows all came together beautifully. The attention to detail extended beyond just the aesthetics; they included their families in every aspect of the celebration, ensuring that their wedding was not just a union of two people but a coming together of two families.
Being Christina and David’s wedding photographer at Ninety Acres was an incredible experience that I’m honored to have been a part of. Congratulations to the Habers! Check out the beauty of their summer wedding below!
