My inspiration for “Peach Photography” comes from the experience of the “peach and the pit”, a light-hearted social discussion that has us ponder the best and worst part of our day. It is a reminder that not every day is great, but every day has something great in it.

St. Teresa of Avila Church Ceremony

Some wedding days feel effortless from beginning to end — and Ashley and James’ celebration was exactly that. From a beautiful church ceremony to a golden hour portrait session on the grounds of Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, every moment of their wedding day was classic, joyful, and beautifully designed.

With a timeless palette of black, white, and soft candlelight, their wedding perfectly complemented the elegant setting of one of New Jersey’s most sought-after country club venues.

Getting Ready at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club

Ashley and James both spent the morning getting ready on site at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, which made the start of the day relaxed and seamless. Having both sides of the wedding party at the venue allowed for an easy timeline and gave everyone time to enjoy the anticipation of the day.

Ashley looked stunning in her timeless gown by Anne Barge, paired with elegant heels from Badgley Mischka. Her bridal look was classic and refined — the perfect complement to the romantic aesthetic of the day.

Hair styling by Kristina Z Beauty and makeup by Beauty on Location completed her polished bridal look.

A Beautiful Ceremony at St. Teresa of Avila Church

Ashley and James were married at the breathtaking St. Teresa of Avila Church — one of my favorite churches to photograph in New Jersey.

The church features a grand staircase and a spacious courtyard that creates beautiful opportunities for portraits before and after the ceremony. Inside, the altar is perfectly lit, allowing the moment when couples exchange vows to feel both intimate and luminous.

After the ceremony, guests gathered outside the church as Ashley and James exited down the grand steps, beginning the celebration that would continue back at the reception.

Elegant White Florals and Candlelight Reception Design

The reception design by From Peonies to Paint Chips embraced a timeless palette of white florals and soft candlelight.

Long tables featured single long-stem white roses, creating a minimalist and modern look, while round tables were accented with lush white arrangements and clear glass candelabras. A variety of candles added warmth throughout the space, and greenery draped from the chandeliers added an organic touch above the reception floor.

Ashley carried a romantic bouquet of white peonies, while the bridesmaids held bouquets of classic white roses — a perfect pairing with their elegant black bridesmaid dresses.

Golden Hour Portraits at Fiddler’s Elbow

One of the highlights of the evening was stepping outside for golden hour portraits on the grounds of Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club.

The soft evening light created the most beautiful glow across the landscape, giving Ashley and James a quiet moment together before returning to their celebration. Golden hour portraits are always some of my favorite images of the day — relaxed, romantic, and filled with natural light.

A Celebration with Incredible Music and Energy

The reception quickly turned into a lively celebration thanks to the incredible performance from Atomic Funk, who kept the dance floor packed all night.

Ashley and James’ wedding was the perfect combination of timeless elegance and joyful celebration — a beautiful reflection of their style and the love shared with family and friends.
