The Albion Summit – Editorial Engagement Session
Ashley and James’ editorial engagement session at The Albion Summit on February 15th, 2025, was so dreamy. The moment I arrived, I understood why they chose this spot—it had everything they were looking for in terms of vibe and aesthetic. A little snow even started to fall, adding an extra touch of romance to the outdoor shots and giving the entire session a soft edge.
We started outside, taking full advantage of the snowfall and the natural beauty around the venue. Despite the chill in the air, Ashley and James were completely in their element—laughing, holding each other close, and making my job incredibly easy. Then we moved indoors, and that’s where The Albion Summit truly shined. The space has a uniquely designed restaurant and bar with moody lighting, dark wood details, and rich, warm tones—perfectly matching the editorial engagement session vibe we wanted to create.
My favorite thing about this location was the variety. Between the snowy, serene exteriors and the cozy, dramatic interiors, we were able to capture such a wide range of looks. The atmosphere inside really lent itself to flash photography, which I loved—it gave the photos a crisp, bold edge that brought out so much personality. The vibe was fun, elevated, and a little unexpected in all the best ways.
What stood out most during this editorial engagement session, though, was Ashley and James themselves. Their connection is effortless. They’re the kind of couple who aren’t afraid to show how much they adore one another. Those genuine moments are what I always aim to freeze in time!
I’m already counting down to October 3rd, 2025, when I’ll have the honor of photographing their wedding day at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. If their engagement session at The Albion Summit was any indication, their big day is going to be full of style and unforgettable moments.
Here’s to the future Mr. and Mrs. Moran—I can’t wait to capture the next chapter.
