My inspiration for “Peach Photography” comes from the experience of the “peach and the pit”, a light-hearted social discussion that has us ponder the best and worst part of our day. It is a reminder that not every day is great, but every day has something great in it.

That is my goal as a photographer...to have my work reflect what it is that makes a day special; what it is that makes a moment special.

Florida Photography Session

As a Palm Beach family photographer, I’m lucky to work in one of the most beautiful backdrops in Florida. From the sparkling blue water to the soft white sand and iconic palm trees, every session feels like stepping into a postcard. Families often come to Palm Beach to relax and create memories, and my job is to capture those moments so they can be cherished for years to come.

My Favorite Palm Beach Photography Locations

As a Palm Beach family photographer, I find this area of South Florida offers no shortage of stunning spots. The Worth Avenue Clock Tower is a classic, with its elegant design leading straight out to the beach. If you want a mix of history and scenery, the Jupiter Lighthouse provides a timeless setting, while the Juno Pier and surrounding park give a perfect mix of water, boardwalks, and coastal charm.

I also love more natural, hidden gems like Delray Oaks Natural Area and Ocean Ridge Hammock Park, where families can explore trails, trees, and beach views all in one place. These spots are less crowded, which makes it easier to capture authentic, candid photos. Whether you prefer the polished beauty of downtown Palm Beach or a quiet coastal escape, there’s a location to fit every family’s personality.

Why I Love Beach Family Sessions

Being a Palm Beach family photographer is no different from the shores of Jersey. Photographing families on Florida beaches reminds me of sessions where I first started—but with bluer water, calmer waves, and, of course, palm trees swaying in the breeze. What makes Florida beach sessions so special is not just the scenery, but the way families interact in such a relaxed environment. Kids run barefoot in the sand, parents laugh as they try to keep up, and together it creates a beautiful story in photographs.

One of my favorite things is making sure parents are in the pictures too. So many moms and dads’ phones are filled with photos of their kids, but very few with the whole family together. My sessions are a way to document “the season” of life your family is in, because every stage is fleeting, and you’ll never be in the exact same one again.

What to Wear for your Palm Beach Family Session

When it comes to attire, I always recommend choosing two colors and one neutral so that everyone can mix and match without clashing. Avoid bold stripes or large patterns, but don’t be afraid to embrace color. Layers, like light sweaters or jackets, can also add variety to your gallery.

Props and Activities for Kids

For families with little ones, simple props can make a session even more fun and natural. A blanket for sitting together, a kite to fly, or sand toys for building castles all add to the experience. Snacks and drinks are always a good idea too—it keeps everyone happy and relaxed.

The Best Times of Day for Palm Beach Photography

Lighting is everything in photography, and in Palm Beach the magic happens at sunrise and golden hour leading into sunset. These times offer softer light, fewer crowds, and more comfortable temperatures. Whether it’s the quiet calm of morning or the warm glow at the end of the day, the beach feels most magical during these hours.

Behind the Lens: A Favorite Florida Family Session

A session I think back on took place at Ocean Ridge Hammock Park, where I photographed siblings ages 13 and 3. At first, it was a challenge because of their very different personalities and energy levels. The key was letting them be themselves—giving the teenager prompts like leaning on a railing while the younger sibling climbed a tree. Once they felt comfortable, their bond started to shine through, and the photos captured a sweet connection that their parents now treasure.

Every family session is about more than photos; it’s about capturing a special moment in your family’s life. If you’re looking for a Palm Beach family photographer to capture your family in this beautiful part of Florida, I’d love to help you create memories you’ll cherish forever.
