Ahoy, engaged couples, fellow photographers, and anyone else who stumbled upon my blog! I’m so excited to share with you not only this gorgeous sailboat engagement session, but also Philip and Nicole’s engagement story!
The future Mr. and Mrs. Reynold’s story began in the digital realm of the Hinge dating app. Followed by a phone call, a Facetime chat, and a magical third date – their connection blossomed into something extraordinary.
Philip’s proposal was a night Nicole would never forget. Their apartment was transformed with rose petals, candles, and Frank Sinatra hits. With the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop, Philip asked Nicole to be his wife.
Sailing is a shared passion for Philp and Nicole! Philip grew up in a family of advanced sailors, and after learning himself, sailed competitively every summer at the Jersey Shore. Eventually, he joined the sailing team at the US Naval academy becoming a world class sailor today. And Nicole took sailing lessons out of the Manhattan Yacht Club in 2019 and is still a novice. So, as you can see, having their engagement session on a sailboat was quite symbolic!
Their engagement session brought excitement and challenges. The excitement? A stunning sunset with just the right amount of breeze! The challenge? A haze from the Canadian wildfires! But the photos turned out beautiful for this perfect sailboat engagement session.
As they look forward to their wedding, Philip and Nicole are most excited about celebrating with loved ones. They can’t wait to dance the night away and create memories.
