Some love stories begin with a swipe on an app or a chance introduction through friends. Allison and Brett’s story started somewhere much more unexpected—a hospital room.

Their elegant Trump National Golf Club Bedminster wedding was every bit as timeless as their story. Filled with classic white florals, soft blue accents, heartfelt family traditions, and thoughtful details around every corner, their day perfectly reflected who they are as a couple. More than anything, it was a celebration centered on family, genuine connection, and the beautiful journey that brought them together. 

A Hospital Meet-Cute Worthy of a Movie

When Allison walked into a patient’s hospital room, she confidently began explaining the care plan to who she believed was the patient’s father. Instead, Brett turned around.

Completely embarrassed, Allison realized she had mistaken him for someone else. While she wanted nothing more than to disappear, Brett immediately started making jokes, turning an awkward moment into one that left her laughing.

Brett later admitted it was love at first sight. Allison, on the other hand, was so embarrassed she refused to make eye contact with him for the rest of his visit. Eventually, Brett worked up the courage to ask out the nurse he had met during a twelve-hour shift, and the rest became their incredible love story.

Having only one wedding each day allowed them to feel like the entire property was theirs, while coordinator Marisa made every step of the planning process feel effortless.

The sweeping golf course views, beautiful architecture, and exceptional service created the perfect backdrop for a wedding that felt luxurious without ever losing its warm and welcoming atmosphere. 

Classic Style with Meaningful Details

Every design choice reflected Allison and Brett’s vision of timeless elegance.

Classic white blooms paired with natural greenery created an elevated, refined look, while soft blue bridesmaid dresses added just enough color without taking away from the sophisticated aesthetic. Every detail felt intentional—from Jimmy Choo shoes to elegant stationery and beautifully styled reception spaces. 

Personal touches made the celebration even more memorable. Cocktail napkins featured their Mini Goldendoodle, Jett, and guests were surprised with late-night pizza from Pizza Vita, one of the couple’s favorite traditions from living together in Hoboken. 

A Ceremony That Honored Both Families

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was the ceremony itself.

Together, Allison and Brett chose to honor both of their faiths by having both a priest and a rabbi officiate their ceremony. Bringing together Allison’s large Italian family and Brett’s Jewish family created a celebration that beautifully reflected the joining of two families and two traditions.

It was heartfelt, personal, and one of the many moments that made their Trump National Golf Club Bedminster wedding uniquely their own. 

Favorite Moments from the Day

There were countless unforgettable moments throughout the celebration.

Guests enjoyed an incredible cocktail hour featuring fresh seafood, sushi, lobster, oysters, and an impressive custom ice sculpture before moving into an evening of nonstop dancing and amazing food. Signature cocktails reflected each of their personalities, while dessert ended on the sweetest note with warm chocolate chip cookie skillets and vanilla ice cream. 

Then came one of the day’s biggest surprises.

Unknown to almost everyone—including the planning team—Allison’s father, a retired Air Force fighter pilot, arranged a flyover during the celebration. Even though the timing shifted after a passing rain shower, guests watched in amazement as a rainbow appeared, followed shortly after by the aircraft overhead. Sometimes the most unexpected moments become the most unforgettable memories.

The Peach & The Pit

When asked about the best part of their wedding day, neither Allison nor Brett hesitated—it was marrying each other while being surrounded by the people they love most. Having friends and family travel from across the country made the celebration even more meaningful.

As for the “pit?” Brett joked that it was “sweating his butt off on the dance floor.” I’d say that’s a pretty great problem to have at a wedding.

Planning a wedding comes with countless decisions, but Allison’s advice is simple: don’t lose sight of what truly matters. The little details are fun, but at the end of the day, you’re marrying your best friend.
