The Peach and The Pit

In my experience, ‘the peach and the pit’ usually occurred around the dinner table, after a great meal and a full day. Simply….each person is asked to ponder the best and worst part of their day; the sweetest, softest moment and the tougher, harder one. This is a collection of Peach Photography clients and the sometimes funny but always reflective accounts of the their time with the camera.

Anielle & Liam – 9.10.17

Pit: We had a completely outdoor wedding and the timing some how went askew so we ended up cutting the cake in the dark 🙁

Peach: Everything turned out perfectly— Liam sang to me and we cried and it was better than I could’ve expected.

Jennifer & Chris – 4.23.17

Pit: Someone stepped on my dress during the conga line and broke my bustle. My dress had to be worn down the rest of the night.

Peach: How perfect the weather was! Having an April wedding, we were expecting the worst, but we had a great day….no rain, and lots of sun! It made all of our pictures look even that much more beautiful.

Kelsey & Anthony – 9.29.17

Pit: Choosing to wear my flats over my heels for my dress reveal with my dad & brother. The dress was tailored for the height of my heels and I kept tripping as I was walking toward my dad & brother. It was all worth it though because the pictures of their faces when they saw me for the first time are some of my favorite! And, it makes me crack up every time I think about it. Not so much as it was happening, but definitely now!

Peach: Doing a reveal with my dad & my brother. It was the first time either had seen me in my wedding dress and it was a very special moment for all 3 of us.

Katie & Vinnie – 3.4.17

Pit: the absolutely bitter cold wind gusts that day! Every time the wind calmed down for a few seconds and we thought we’d be able to bear the cold for a picture, the wind would kick up again. Looking back, it made for pretty funny group pictures with everyone’s hair and dresses blowing in different directions…and everyone’s “I’m trying to smile and not look like I’m freezing over” faces! LOL

Peach: SO MANY peaches BUT…walking up behind my soon-to-be hubby and savoring those moments before the first look where I could see him but he couldn’t see me; the special “just us” portraits that captured our smiles, kisses, and giggles; and every single GORGEOUS sunset picture!

Christina & Jeff – 5.12.17

Pit: When the Priest kept calling my husband the wrong name by mistake during the ceremony, repeatedly! Horrified at first. Although honest mixup, Priests get nervous too!! Although not what we envisioned, it brought some comic relief to our ceremony and made it even more unforgettable. A story we’ll be able to tell for a lifetime!

Peach: When we saw each other for the first time at our first look followed by our first few pictures together as Bride & Groom. Best feeling in the world, priceless moments that we will cherish forever.
